Miss Renee treats a wide range of speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, and more! 

The process for an initial evaluation with Miss Renee involves an assessment of speech and language skills. This includes articulation (how sounds are pronounced), expressive language (the language you use), and receptive language (the language you understand), among other areas based on specific needs. It may take 1-2 hours. Based on the results of the evaluation, a personalized treatment plan will be developed and you will be provided with a report. 

The frequency of therapy sessions with Miss Renee will depend on the individual's specific needs and treatment plan. Typically, therapy sessions are scheduled once or twice a week for about 30-45 minutes/session during the school year. Summer sessions are by recommendation and are typically once per week.  

Individual summer sessions are provided by recommendation or special arrangement by request. If you are recommended for summer sessions they are typically held 1x per week.

Miss Renee is not a stranger to her car! A small travel fee is charged each session which allows me to serve a wide range of areas in Central New York. I am open to clients in areas including Brewerton, Cicero, North Syracuse, Liverpool, Baldwinsville, DeWitt, Jamesville, Fayetteville, Central Square, and Parish, NY. Is your town not listed? We can chat! Either I can figure out how to make it to you or I can refer you to a therapist who can! 

Miss Renee accepts private payment only.  This does not mean that you can't have insurance help! Miss Renee requires payment in full and then can provide you with a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance company. Your insurance company will then reimburse you based on your coverage. Please check with your insurance company if you plan to use Superbills. 

Yes! Miss. Renee is happy to see your child wherever they are! I am able to see your child at a family member's house, at a babysitters, at their daycare (with permission), etc. If you just don't want to host therapy sessions at your house, that's okay too! Miss. Renee can hold sessions in public places such as libraries with the proper permissions.
